Did y'all read that?
Ya know what it means right?
I am far from being the best father. But I do try.
Through out my years of being a dad, I have learned a few things that I would like to pass on to y'all out there.
1. Allow God in y'alls home. There is no greater influence for a child. The Holy Bible is the best text book and teaching tool out there.
2. y'all have to be a parent first, and a friend second. I see so many parents today allowing their children run them, run the house. Thats not the way it works. Keep in mind, a good teaching today, keep a hard lesson learned away tomorrow.
3. Show them that you love them everyday. One way or another, show them that y'all do care what happens in their day.
4. Take the time to watch them grow. Learn who they are becoming and who they are going to turn out to be. Remember, they are your future.
5.Spend time with them in what they enjoy. Its funny what y'all can learn today.
6. Live for the little moments. you yourself may not think too much of them at the time, but they could be what they remember the most.
7. I learned this one from my wife
(yes, I just admitted that)
Do not be afraid to show love to the spouse. They too need to see what love is
8. Read number one Again
9. Now read the second one...Again
10. Start at 1 and go to the bottom of the list again
